EXPERIENCE
Robert has been with Vigilant since 2003, when he came to us from L&I, where he was a safety consultant and a compliance officer. Robert also has more than 20 years of experience in the timber industry. Competent in the areas of safety, code interpretation, inspection procedures and appeals, Robert's greatest professional asset is his commitment to helping his members in any way he can.
Robert has the inside track when OSHA or DOSH comes knocking because he has trained federal and state safety inspectors. As a result, Robert is always a calming presence for his members during inspections. Robert has also produced or helped to produce three safety videos for Alaska and Washington. This in addition to countless hours spent performing hazard identification, appealing safety citations, and conducting training on various safety issues.
