EXPERIENCE
After more than 15 years with Vigilant and nearly 30 total years of consulting member companies, there's not much that can happen in a workplace that Rod hasn't encountered. In addition to giving out sage advice, Rod teaches several of Vigilant's legal-based training classes and assists with many members' collective bargaining obligations.
Rod's expertise is built upon a constant willingness to try something new, and what he tackles, he conquers. When a member asked him to figure out the intricate calculation methods of unemployment insurance, Rod dove in. When an arbitration needed to get done at the last minute, Rod stepped up (and won!). Such willingness makes him a great co-worker and a great employer advocate.
