EXPERIENCE
With Vigilant since 2007, Diane's a sharp shooter with wage withholding issues. Diane is licensed to practice in two states, contributes to our semi-monthly newsletter, and has the Midas Touch when it comes to state agency responses.
Servicing mid-sized members in two states - Oregon and Washington - has given Diane a particular insight into the complexities and differences among the Oregon Family Leave Act, Washington Family Leave, and the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). This familiarity assisted her in working on a lengthy submission to the federal Department of Labor (DOL) when it was revising the FMLA regulations. The combined efforts of Diane and others were well-received by the DOL, and Vigilant's feedback was quoted almost 40 times. The real upside: employers everywhere benefitted from the practical insight of the Vigilant staff.
