EXPERIENCE
Once on the receiving end of Vigilant training as a timber industry employee, Richard is now one of Vigilant's staff. With us since 2005, Richard's members rave about his willingness to help whenever they need him. Not only will he write a safety program for you, he'll train you on its policies, teach you how to train your employees, and make sure you have all the documentation you need if OSHA or DOSH arrives unannounced. In short, Richard makes sure you have what you need, when you need it.
After 25-plus years monitoring safety in timber facilities in the Northwest, Richard breathes safety. As a safety professional for Vigilant, he knows what will (and won't) work in a facility because he's been the one responsible for the development and enforcement of safety programs. Always striving to deliver both practical and professional advice, Richard has received multiple certifications, including Train-the-Trainer certifications in Industrial Fork Lift, Aerial Lift Platforms, Confined Space Entry, Hazard Communication, and Lock-out/Tag-out. Very few people can give you the practical advice Richard can offer, but better yet, Richard rolls his sleeves up and helps you get the programs implemented.
